Why Other Hair Restoration Methods Fail

About 80 million men and women in the United States are afflicted with hereditary hair loss, which can lead to baldness, thinning hair, and patchy spots.

Many people understandably want to do something about this hair loss, so they turn to any number of hair restoration methods they see advertised. Many of these methods end up failing, thanks to reasons we’ll detail below.

At Advanced Robotic Hair Restoration Centers, our mission is to provide high-quality hair restoration and transplant services for men and women in our area. We only accept one patient per day, so you know you’re getting our full attention and the best possible service.

We know not every patient looking for hair restoration will choose this kind of white-glove service, but here are a few reasons other hair restoration methods may fail:

Inexperienced surgeon

A hair transplant procedure is not the place for someone who doesn’t have experience in the field. A less-experienced surgeon is more apt to make mistakes while harvesting follicular groups for transplantation.

If, for instance, they harvest hair with an improper technique or from a zone of the body that doesn’t work well, the results will be predictably bad. Or, if they overharvest from a particular region, they can cause damage that looks like large areas of hair are missing or thinned out too much.

Make sure your doctor is qualified and experienced before you let them near your hair.

Improper post-op care

How should we say this? You have to follow your doctor's directions for taking care of your head after surgery! If you scratch itchy areas or wash improperly, you may prevent the transplant from taking hold. You should also avoid sun exposure and sweating, and maintain good hygiene to avoid infection.

Not being a good candidate in the first place

If you are not a good candidate for a hair transplant, no fancy technology will help. You may not have enough hair loss yet, your donor areas may be weak and insufficient, or the cause of your hair loss (such as stress) may not be conducive to a transplant.

At Advanced Robotic Hair Restoration Centers, we provide the world’s most advanced hair restoration technology to avoid all of these problems and more. Our ARTAS iX robotic hair restoration system maps and calculates important hair follicle statistics to ensure successful harvesting and transplanting, leading to long-lasting results.
