Maria was born and raised in New York City. She completed her Medical Assistant degree in 1999 and went on to become a well-respected hair transplant technician at Bosley where she worked until achieving her R.N. degree in 2012 from the Cochran School of Nursing in New York. She began her nursing career in Oncology before transitioning back into Cosmetic Nursing and Hair Transplantation. She later accepted a leadership role as Sr. Clinical Trainer of the North East Region with Restoration Robotics, the manufacturer of the ARTAS® robot. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management at Western Governors University. Maria is very thankful and is embracing her new role as Dr. David Mayer’s Clinical Nurse Manager at Advanced Robotic Hair Restoration Centers.
Her 20+ years of experience in the medical field/hair transplant industry allows her to meticulously coordinate all clinical activities, sales and marketing efforts. This allows her to understand the overall practice operations. As the Clinical Nurse Manager, she helps to make the practice run smoothly and keep the technology innovative and cutting-edge. Maria is thankful for the time that she gets to spend with our patients to ensure everyone has a great cosmetic experience! She will help you through the entire patient experience from the initial consultation through your last follow up visit. She will teach you what to expect throughout your journey and address all concerns you may have regarding surgery. Afterwards she will be your shoulder to lean on and hand to hold. During your recovery and healing, she will contact you on a regular basis to make sure you are feeling well. Her patience and compassion provide the emotional support that our patients and patients’ families need. Her warm and engaging personality is contagious!
